“Iraq” is destined to be a true rallying cry during these difficult political times. TIMZ’s background allows him to give a unique perspective of the war. “My parents are from Iraq but I was born in the United States. I feel like I’m able to connect to both sides of this war a little more than the average person. That’s why I wrote the song the way I did; the first verse is written from the perspective of an Iraqi while the second verse is written from the perspective of an American. There can be a common goal and a common community,but only if injustices like those in South Africa are mediated.

"Un pezzo sempre dalla ritmica dura, un pezzo da ballare, con un testo che parla di barriere, che insomma sono un argomento attuale, barriere di ogni tipo, prima di tutto le barriere mentali, quelle che uno da quando nasci così ti costruiscono intorno, poi ad un certo punto ti trovi pieno di barriere, fatte spesso di pregiudizi, di pensieri pensati da altri, allora quando ho scritto questo pezzo pensavo propro al fatto che spesso violando delle regole che sembrano mandate da Dio queste regole e invece sono fatte dagli uomini per preservare il privilegio e gli interessi di pochi e escludere tutti gli altri da questo privilegio, violando queste regole si buttano giù dei muri, è difficle cazzo, è difficilissimo, però si può fare, si può fare insomma, e allora questo pezzo è dedicato a quelli che spostano le idee, a quelli che.., allo spostamento delle idee alla migrazione del pensiero, e anche alla migrazione degli uomini e delle persone in questa palla che si chiama mondo, si chiama ‘il muratore’ questo pezzo!’
