Trema la terra

Ancora una volta la terra trema in Italia. Dopo l'Abruzzo l'Emilia. E ritorna alla mente questa canzone di Lucilla Galeazzi, che racconta della sua Umbria devastata dal terremoto del 1997. Una durissima canzone contro la guerra alla terra.
"Terra non fare strazio degli innocenti, travolgi chi ti ferisce", chi specula sulla ricostruzione, sulle "New Town", chi la sera del terremoto ride pensando agli appalti, chi invece che a mettere in sicurezza le scuole o le case dello studente pensa a costruire la TAV...

This is a song Ascanio Celestini and Alessio Lega sing together or separately (I say “sing” in the present tense, because Alessio sings it already in his performances though it is still unreleased).
The song is set in a definitely realistic scenario; as a matter of fact, the present situation of workers (and of nonworkers) is said to be a “calvary” and, q uiet yet diabolic as usual, Ascanio Celestini brings us just there. On Calvary, or Golgotha as you want to call it. Αυτό είναι τραγούδι που ο Ασκάνιο Τσελεστίνι κι ο Αλέσσιο Λέγκα τον ερμηνεύουν μαζί ή αυτόνομα (λέω “ερμηνεύουν” στον ενεστώτα γιατί ο Αλέσσιο το τραγουδάει κιόλας στα κοντσέρτά του), και που συμβολίζει εντελώς ρεαλιστικό σενάριο. Uno spiritual di autore anonimo proveniente probabilmente dalle piantagioni della Louisiana.
Incisa da Robeson per la prima volta nel 1927.
Il grande cantante baritono-basso, attore, avvocato, attivista per i diritti civili, nero e comunista la ripropose più volte, soprattutto negli anni della fobia anticomunista, della “caccia alle streghe”, delle “blacklists”, del maccartismo.
La sua voce profonda ed appassionata che intonava “Scandalize My Name” risuonò anche nei primi anni 50 nel corso dei famosi “Peace Arch Concerts”, i concerti che Robeson tenne nella località al confine con il Canada quando le autorità americane gli sequestrarono il passaporto per impedire a quel “negro comunista” di andare all’estero. Veo que habéis tomado la versión censurada; Antonio Piera, miembro del grupo y amigo mío, "me hizo" corregirla con la línea que realmente iban a cantar: Allí donde dice "cacharros de hojalata", iban a cantar "de medallas de hojalata".
Y acabo con una anécdota acerca del nombre del grupo: "Desde Santurce a Bilbao" es la primera estrofa de una muy conocida canción popular norteña, de Cantabria, si no me equivoco; pero, de acuerdo con Moncho Alpuente, el "Blues Band" propio de las bandas de rock estadounidenses de los 60 y 70 fue una idea propiciada por el dibujante "Forges": según Alpuente, él leyó en una revista ("Informaciones", creo que era) una viñeta suya en la que aparecían dos monigotes del célebre "Forges": uno decía "Desde Santurce a Bilbao...", y el otro remataba con un "Blues Band". Por desgracia, nunca he conseguido encontrar esa viñeta.

Scritta alla fine degli anni '60, suonata in molti concerti ma pubblicata solo nel video ufficiale di "Daylight Again" e nell'Album "Stills Alone", oltre ad essere molto bella per la musica e per l'abilità di Stills con la chitarra, è un ritratto abbastanza crudo di molti dei piloti reduci dal Vietnam, che si "riconvertivano" nel contrabbando, sfruttando le proprie indubbie capacità professionali affinate nel corso della guerra. È uno dei tipici modi, tra l'altro tra i meno gravi (in qualche modo persino "romantici"), in cui si manifestava la sindrome del reduce dal Vietnam (asocialità, illegalità, individualismo, machismo, intolleranza...)

La Chanson des Chômeurs
« La Carotte et le Bâton »
Ce matin du 29 mai 2012, un quotidien de Bruxelles, par ailleurs capitale de l'Europe, titrait : « La carotte et le bâton pour les chômeurs ».... C'était le titre d'un article relatant la position de la ministre « socialiste » ( ?!!!!) en place. Par courtoisie, on taira son nom.
Pour moi comme pour tous les ânes, dit Lucien l'âne en tremblant de tout son corps, et j'espère comme pour tous les humains, c'est purement et simplement du chantage. Et la réponse est très simple : « Ni la carotte par devant, ni le bâton par derrière ! »
Ah, Lucien l'âne mon ami, je te reconnais bien là. Mais malheureusement, à la grande honte de l'humanité, il y a des gens qui soutiennent pareille ignominie.
