Una poesia di Peppino Impastato messa in musica dai "Marta sui tubi" e inclusa anche nel disco collettivo "26 canzoni per Peppino Impastato".
Ci sono binari sporchi di sangue e brandelli di carne che mai resteranno asciutti e puliti. Quei binari sono quelli della linea ferrata Palermo-Trapani. Quel sangue e la carne dilaniata sono quelli di Peppino Impastato, assassinato con una carica di tritolo il 9 maggio del 1978. Questa raccolta di sue 26 poesie, musicate dal fior fiore di artisti della nostra terra, sono la voce dell’arte che ha coscienza sociale e che non dimentica. Queste poesie sonore sono la testimonianza della speranza per il nostro paese che sta vivendo uno dei momenti più reazionari della storia. Non siamo nel 2008 ma nel 1984 orwelliano. Chanson italienne – Alberi, rami e foglie – Casa del Vento - 2004
Cette année (2004) est celle du 60ième anniversaire de la Libération du nazi-fascisme ici à Arezzo et dans sa Province. La ville fut libérée par les Néozélandais le 16 juillet 1944 après qu'un groupe de partisans l'eut entretemps occupée clandestinement. En tant que Casa del Vento, nous avions déjà écrit des chansons sur la mémoire de cette période... En lisant des livres sur ce sujet, en écoutant des témoignages directs de personnes et de partisans qui ont vécu ces histoires, nous avons mûri une conscience « résistante », nous rendant compte que le territoire de notre province avait été, en 1943 et 1944, le théâtre d'histoires incroyables et de rébellion face autant au sursaut fasciste de la République Sociale qu'à la rage des troupes allemandes en retraite. Il y eut de nombreux massacres perpétrés par les Allemands, souvent... (Continues)

Ho letto tutta la disputa e ho deciso di deciderla io (e non posso, forse?): è cagosa, proprio cagosa, cagosissima, che più cagosa non si può. Come una partita di calcio benefica dei commercialisti vs gli immobiliaristi per la difesa dell'ambiente. Come il Telethon. Ecco, propongo che si vada avanti elencando tutte la cagate cui assomiglia. Stare in equilibrio tra Feltri e Veltroni, o tra Veltri e Feltroni non sarà facile, né popolare: ma si può e si deve, mentre intanto li si manda tutti a cagare. Oh!

L'utilizzo e l'estrazione del carbone fossile in Belgio e, più in particolare, nella Vallonia, risale alla notte dei tempi. Nel paese ci sono le miniere più antiche del mondo. L'estrazione del carbone fu per molto tempo un'attività stagionale: i lavori nei campi si alternavano a quelli nelle miniere. Lo sviluppo dell'industria carbonifera è stato fondato sullo sfruttamento selvaggio di masse di operai, le cui condizioni di lavoro e di vita furono le più difficili e precarie. Fino alla Prima Guerra Mondiale, fare il minatore era una tradizione familiare che si trasmetteva da generazione all'altra. Poi seguì il riflusso, fino al quasi totale rifiuto dei belgi a scendere in miniera. Mais tu comprends ce que je veux dire...

On m'a déjà assommé avec ce genre de succès, mais il faut aussi savoir ce que l'on attend de la chanson et ce qu'on veut aussi en faire. La morte di un protagonista del folk revival italiano
È morto la sera del 6 gennaio Alberto Cesa: cantante, chitarrista, ghirondista e fondatore nel '74 del marchio Cantovivo, è stato tra i principali interpreti del folk revival. Aveva 62 anni. Del capoluogo sabaudo ha cantato per più di trent'anni le incongruenze e le difficoltà della vita in fabbrica, utilizzando il linguaggio della musica popolare: l'abilità di far dialogare musiche di differente provenienza, dalla ballata ai ritmi del sud, ne hanno fatto una figura di riferimento per l'intera scena nazionale. Più di recente aveva dedicato la sua produzione alla raccolta e alla messa in musica dei Fogli Volanti, scritti e poesie a carattere politico fatti girare in maniera clandestina per decenni: memorabile il cd-libro pubblicato nel 2001 per il Manifesto. Les Murs de Pékin est la septante-sixième chanson du Cycle du Cahier ligné, constitué d'éléments tirés du Quaderno a Cancelli de Carlo Levi.
Le texte poétique a ceci de curieux, c'est vrai pour d'autres textes mais en moins fort, qu'il s'impose lors même que sa signification échappe, énonce comme envoûté Marco Valdo M.I..
Tu m'as l'air bien songeur, mon ami Marco Valdo M.I. et même, comme inspiré... Un peu comme j'ai vu Cassandre quand elle annonçait la fin de Troie.
Tu n'as pas tort, Lucien l'âne, mon ami. C'est un phénomène étrange que l'invention poétique, car la canzone n'est rien d'autre que cela... Le texte se fait, en quelque sorte de lui-même et on ne sait trop où en situer la source; sans doute, dans l'air du temps. Bien sûr, on peut tenter de forcer le texte à dire... (Continues)

At the time it was the world's third worst mine disaster. The accident had a profound effect on the town of Hillcrest Mines, which in 1914 had a population of about 1,000. The two people named in the song died .... "Un altro natale" è stata scritta da Alessandro De Frassine Dufrusine nato nell'Aprile del 56 e come altre sue canzoni è stata ispirata dal dolore e dalla solidarietà verso chi subisce violenze di ogni tipo.
Scelta controcorrente quella fatta dal"cantautore"alla fine degli anni 70 quando rinuncia con il "sentiero del silenzio"
ad esibirsi in pubblico.
Continua però a cantare le sue canzoni a quegli amici occasionali che lo trovano spesso di notte solitario sui
monti o sulle scalinate delle chiese che circondano la sua città natale "L'Aquila".

E’ la canzone che dà il titolo ad un album del 1982.

Una delle prime e più celebri battaglie combattute durante la guerra di Crimea fu quella del fiume Alma dove, il 20 settembre 1854, le forze anglo-francesi sbaragliarono l'armata russa del generale Menshikov. A distinguersi per coraggio furono in particolare gli zuavi del terzo reggimento di fanteria. Ed è ancora oggi uno zuavo, insieme ad un fante, ad un granatiere e ad un artigliere, a presidiare i pilastri del Pont de l’Alma sulla Senna a Parigi…
Nella canzone interpretata da Reggiani, Octave le zouave rimembra i tempi eroici in cui scorrazzava per il mondo ad “educare i popoli selvaggi”, i “bei tempi dei temburi e dei crisantemi” in cui non passava giorno che non gli fosse dato di far la cosa che più amava: “veder colare il sangue”…Purtroppo oggi (che gli zuavi non esistono più, il reggimento è stato sciolto... Dialogo assurdo tra una gamba di legno ed una bomba sul campo di battaglia di Friedland, dove nel giugno 1807 Napoleone sconfisse l'armata russa condotta da Levin August von Bennigsen.
Una gamba di legno è depressa perchè non trova padrone. Così se ne va su di un campo di battaglia e chiede ad una bomba francese di passaggio di fare uno strappo alla regola, di non abbattersi su di un cosacco ma di tornare indietro e di ferire ad una gamba un ufficiale francese, in modo da darle finalmente occupazione. Ma l'ufficiale colpito rimane ucciso e così la bomba e la protesi vengono processati per alto tradimento e condannati l'una a fare da palla al piede all'altra...
