Scritta alla fine degli anni '60, suonata in molti concerti ma pubblicata solo nel video ufficiale di "Daylight Again" e nell'Album "Stills Alone", oltre ad essere molto bella per la musica e per l'abilità di Stills con la chitarra, è un ritratto abbastanza crudo di molti dei piloti reduci dal Vietnam, che si "riconvertivano" nel contrabbando, sfruttando le proprie indubbie capacità professionali affinate nel corso della guerra. È uno dei tipici modi, tra l'altro tra i meno gravi (in qualche modo persino "romantici"), in cui si manifestava la sindrome del reduce dal Vietnam (asocialità, illegalità, individualismo, machismo, intolleranza...)

Ancora una volta la terra trema in Italia. Dopo l'Abruzzo l'Emilia. E ritorna alla mente questa canzone di Lucilla Galeazzi, che racconta della sua Umbria devastata dal terremoto del 1997. Una durissima canzone contro la guerra alla terra.

"Terra non fare strazio degli innocenti, travolgi chi ti ferisce", chi specula sulla ricostruzione, sulle "New Town", chi la sera del terremoto ride pensando agli appalti, chi invece che a mettere in sicurezza le scuole o le case dello studente pensa a costruire la TAV...

È uno dei più bei inni della hippie generation, velato da un inizio di incertezza/ansia sul successo della rivoluzione in atto. Il periodo, non a caso, è quello di "Long Time Gone" e di "Déjà vu".

Secondo una delle possibili interpretazioni il taglio dei capelli sarebbe quello per l'arruolamento nell'esercito e il sentirsi "come se lo dovessi a qualcuno" deriverebbe dalle pressioni psicologiche delle campagne di arruolamento, che miravano a scatenare veri complessi di colpa nei giovani per "costringerli" ad arruolarsi.

Sempre secondo questa interpretazione, il riferimento al "clima meridionale e solare" sarebbe a qualche zona dell'America meridionale (es. Messico), dove avrebbe potuto rifugiarsi per "sfuggire" allo strazio e alle pressioni psicologiche della guerra del Vietnam.

Forse in questo senso il brano potrebbe rientrare a pieno titolo tra le canzoni contro la guerra.
