meurt Massimiliano Ferretti, un bébé de sept mois.
6 juin 1971. 4000 agents des forces de police procèdent avec violence au dégagement des maisons IACP occupées de la Via Tibaldi. L'agression policière est bestiale. La police tire à l'aveugle des grenades lacrymogènes.
Un bébé d'à peine sept mois, Massimiliano Ferretti, malade du cœur et affecté d'une bronchite, est touché par les gaz. Emmené à la clinique Mangiagalli, il cessa de vivre. Les familles délogées rejoignent al faculté d'Architecture occupée par les étudiants qui les recueillent. Durant l'assemblée, le chantauteur sicilien Franco Trincale déclara quitter le PCI, qui a abandonné les luttes sociales.

The Folk Song Army
Beh, il grande caustico Tom Lehrer introduceva questa sua canzone così:
"One type of song that is coming to increasing prominence in recent months is the folk song of protest. You have to admire people who sing these songs -- it takes a certain amount of courage to get up in a coffeehouse or a college auditorium and come out in favor of the things that everybody else in the audience is AGAINST -- like peace, justice, and brotherhood, and so on.
But, the nicest thing about a protest song is that it makes you feel so good. I have a song here which, I realize, should be accompanied on a folk instrument (in which category, the piano does not, alas, qualify) -- so, imagine if you will that I am playing an 88-string guitar."
Quindi, mi pare, che fosse una bella presa per i culo dei folksinger pacifisti di allora e delle loro udienze... Chissà che bella canzoncina avrebbe scritto Lehrer su di noi delle CCG/AWS che tutte quelle canzoni le collezioniamo!?!

Two Soldiers
“Two Soldiers” è un arrangiamento che Dylan fece di “The Last Fierce Charge”, una canzone tradizionale risalente alla guerra civile americana. Fu Jerry Garcia dei Grateful Dead a farla conoscere a Dylan nella versione – già intitolata “Two Soldiers” - incisa nel 1973 da Hazel & Alice, ossia il duo composto dalle musiciste Hazel Dickens e Alice Gerrard, moglie di Mike Seeger, fratello di Pete Seeger.
