“Altri impegni”: Bob Dylan non smentisce la sua fama eccentrica e dunque non sarà presente alla cerimonia di consegna del premio Nobel che si terrà a Stoccolma il prossimo 10 dicembre.
L’Accademia spiega di aver ricevuto una lettera dal musicista: “Avrebbe voluto ricevere il premio di persona ma altri impegni rendono la cosa sfortunatamente impossibile. Dylan ha voluto sottolineare – spiega un comunicato dell’Accademia stessa – di sentirsi estremamente onorato per questo premio Nobel”.

Se il premio Nobel per la letteratura è stato attribuito a Bob Dylan dall'Accademia Svedese, potrà forse essere considerato come una specie di presagio il fatto che quella che, con tutta probabilità, sembra essere la prima versione di Blowin' in the Wind in un'altra lingua, è proprio in svedese. La canzone originale è datata 16 aprile 1962; nel 1963, il gruppo degli Sven-Ingvars ne aveva già pronta la cover nella lingua di Bellman e Runeberg (la traduzione del testo era di Tore Lagergren). Gli Sven-Ingvars sono ancora in attività, e sono forse la band più longeva dell'intera scena musicale svedese: si sono costituiti nel 1956 (sessant'anni fa!) e continuano a esibirsi da arzilli vecchietti. Ovviamente non ci si può aspettare da un simile soggetto quella poeticità e quella profondità di vedute del neo Premio Nòbe' pe' la letteratura, però le domande che egli si pone sono squisitamente pratiche e, oserei dire, attuali. La versione in frisone occidentale (West-Frysk) di Ernst Langhout (Oudkerk, 16 maggio 1956) e Johan Keus. Sfortunatamente, il testo frisone non è ancora reperibile in rete (chi lo avesse a disposizione, è pregato di segnalarcelo). Ernst Langhout e Johan Keus hanno pubblicato due album di cover di Dylan in frisone, Dylan yn it Frysk 1/2. La versione frisone di Langhout e Keus è, a mio parere, una delle migliori in ogni lingua.

La versione in afrikaans di Koos van der Merwe. Koos van der Merwe è musicista, cantautore, traduttore e teologo; particolarmente note in Sudafrica le sue versioni in afrikaans da Leonard Cohen. Si è dedicato a Bob Dylan con un intero album di cover del 2015, Tamboerynman, dal quale è tratta questa versione di Blowin' in the Wind qui riprodotta da Nobody Sings Dylan like Dylan.
