Aurora ha cantato una nuova versione di Through The Eyes Of A Child (originariamente nell'album All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend del 2016) con nuove parole dedicate ai bambini di Gaza.
This song is for the victims of the Utøya massacre in 2011 and someone important for AURORA that died that day.
"Today is the day. 22nd of July. It's been 4 years since you left us. Since all of you left us. how time flies, we even find ourselves forgetting for a moment, nearly moving on.. Not because we forget you, but because we remember to live. But know that I will always remember you, and everyone that went down with you. I will think of love, and send love to those who needs it this today. I hope no one is crying alone. Rest in peace my friend. You are free now." - AURORA

Album All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend
The song is about having the animal instinct inside you come to life. Running with them, joining them – the instinct taking over, giving you freedom and making you forget about your human self and all things we humans keep around us in the modern society.
I think humans need to let go a bit more, shake their bodies more often, like the animals do.. It’s a beautiful thing really.
Sometimes when you look at the world, and you see what we’ve done to it, the way many of us hurt the world we live in, innocent animals, even our own kind! And that kind of makes you want to follow the wolves instead. At least for one night.
My new single ‘The Seed’ is quite angry and native in the old, ancient human emotional kind of way. It’s about the environment. It feels refreshing to get that out.

"Queendom" is for everyone that hasn’t been respected. I’m a feminist because I’m a woman, it’s as easy as that. But homosexuality was an even bigger inspiration to the song than feminism. It was after I visited Brazil and some places where I realised the political status around same sex love was really bad. I just thought to myself "okay, the world sucks, so I’m going to write this song and make a new world for us".
I’m really passionate about it. Right now I have a boyfriend who’s a very "manly" man, and has more beard than anyone I’ve ever seen. But I had a girlfriend before that, who I was with for a year. I just like to enjoy what is there, and I like to explore. Just love everything around you and you’re loving yourself.
