Il cantautore irlandese Glen Hansard è noto per una serie di attività artistiche, tra cui il ruolo da protagonista alla commedia musicale The Commitments per la regia di Alan Parker, la partecipazione da frontman alla band The Frames.
Curtis Fowlkes é stato una figura di spicco del jazz Americano , un trombonista eccezionale che ha conferito un' atmosfera particolarmente carica di umanità alle sue esecuzioni.
Nel 2015 dalla collaborazione nata fortuitamente a Lucca tra l’autore Glen Hansard e il produttore dell’etichetta Sky Stone Records , René Bassani, é scaturito un progetto originale , un vinile e una graphic novel a cura del fumettista Fabio Visintin . Il risultato è stato un poster nel quale è racchiuso il vinile con tre canzoni di Hansard.
Segue il commento del musicologo che ha partecipato alla presentazione dell’iniziativa nel quadro della 22a edizione di Lucca Comics & Games.
