(The title of the album means "my heart" in the North Slavey language, a group of Athabaskan languages spoken amongst the Dene peoples of Canada in the Northwest Territories)
Empowerment through the sound of drumming, as people "standing in the shelter of ancients / ... are marching to the beat / of one drum, one drum".
This song is about a person’s ability and freedom to make decisions in life, being proud of herself and her roots, being connected to other people to create changes for a better life.
