L'elicottero nella radura, rifornito e pronta a partire
il Capitano allo sportello che ci dice di entrare dentro
ultima controllata, le armi tutte regolate
paracadute e binocolo
pronti a buttarsi nella giungla
per dare una lezione a qualche tribù primitiva
il sergente scherza sull'eliminare l'ultimo legame
con il suo passato turbolento
mentre ci lanciamo nel cielo. Sento un'ombra trapassarmi il cuore.
Inevitabile conseguenza del progresso,
è quel che mi ha detto

L'inserimento di questa canzone è...a nome di Manuela in quanto lei stessa, sicuramente ben più profonda conoscitrice del sottoscritto di Johnny Clegg e delle sue canzoni, me la ha "segnalata in diretta" durante il concerto di sabato 23 settembre a Basilea. "Riccardo, questa è una CCG", sue parole esatte mentre ancora Johhny Clegg e il suo gruppo stavano attaccando le prime note.
