Il Progetto Lebensborn (Progetto Sorgente di Vita) fu uno dei diversi programmi avviati dal gerarca nazista Heinrich Himmler per realizzare le teorie eugenetiche del Terzo Reich sulla razza ariana e portare la popolazione ariana in Germania a 120 milioni di persone entro il 1980.
Aveva come motto:
Il folle progetto fu portato avanti inizialmente in Germania attraverso la propaganda, cercando si arruolare le SS anche in ruolo di padri e garantendo alle ragazze madri di comprovata razza ariana sostegno e cure, poi anche nei paesi occupati anche attraverso la violenza e il rapimento dei bambini.
Nel dopoguerra le donne e i bambini vittime del Lebensborn furono a loro volta discriminati nei paesi invasi dai nazisti in quanto potenziali filonazisti.
