L'album è uscito in piena epoca Thatcher: sul sito footballandmusic.co.uk viene indicata come una canzone contro la "tessera del tifoso" inserita in quegli anni per combattere il fenomeno hooligans.
A me sembra più una canzone contro il calcio usato come "arma di distrazione di massa"; 30 anni fa come oggi.
