Nell'album intitolato “Why”
Una canzone dedicata ai cosiddetti Little Rock Nine, un gruppetto di nove studenti afroamericani che nel 1957 si iscrissero alla scuola superiore di Little Rock, Arkansas.
Il governatore segregazionista Orval E. Faubus mandò i soldati ad impedire l'ingresso ai nuovi alunni, ma il presidente Eisenhower mandò l'esercito federale a scortarli affinchè potessero entrare. Finalmente ammessi, i nove furono costretti a subire ogni sorta di violenze ed angherie inflitte loro dai compagni bianchi. Particolarmente accanite furono le ragazze, che arrivarono a gettare dell'acido in faccia a Melba Joy Pattillo, una dei nove.
