Una breve "strofa di trincea" cantata dai soldati inglesi sulla Somme durante la I guerra mondiale ("Wipers" è la città belga di Ypres, da cui prese nome il gas paralizzante detto ancora oggi "yprite", usato per la prima volta proprio nelle battaglie presso quella città). Era cantata sull'aria di "Sing Me To Sleep".
