Oi, Jeesus, rauhan ruhtinas,
Suo armosi, sota pauhaa;
Salli armossasi meidän asua isien maassa,
Anna, rakas Jeesus, meille rauha;
Sillä sodan vaivat kauheat
Tämän maan rajoilla pauhaavat;
Meitä, Herra, muista armossasi.

Jos ennen kautta aikojen
On verta vuodatettu,
Niin ei ole näinäkään vuosina
Sitä unohdettu;
Sen tähden joudu auttamaan,
Muuten me miekkaan hukutaan.
Oi, älä syntejämme kosta.

O Jesus, Master of Peace,
Have mercy, war is roaring;
Let us live in our Fatherland,
Sweet Jesus, give us peace;
Horrible torments of war
Are thundering at our borders;
O Lord, shine your grace upon us.

Like in all times before
Blood has been spilled,
And these years of our time
Will not spare us from it;
Therefore, come and help us,
Or else we shall die by the sword;
Oh Lord, do not revenge our sins.
