Vorrei solo ricordare che Mairéad Farrell è stata una combattente dell'IRA nordirlandese. In galera per 10 anni, dal 1976 al 1986, fu poi uccisa (insieme a due suoi compagni, Sean Savage e Daniel McCann) dalle forze speciali inglesi nel 1988 a Gibraltar, mentre preparava un attentato contro la locale guarnigione inglese. Non si trattò di uno scontro a fuoco ma di una vera e propria esecuzione preventiva, allo scopo di evitare un attentato che l'intelligence inglese riteneva imminente.
