Now ev'ry body listen, Oh listen to me
To a stirring plea for PEACE and LIBERTY!
The Battle Cry calls men to Arms!
Our cry is PEACE! PEACE! PEACE!
Millions in the World War killed!
War Must Cease!
Crippled men and sightless, men buried 'neath the ground!
Heart breaks of mothers and children all around!
That's the pain and sorrow that war brings about!
Let's all get together and for PEACE LET'S SHOUT!
Over here, over there, over here, over there,
We want PEACE, PEACE, PEACE EV'RYWHERE!
Let's have no need of ammunition!
Let's have no need of bloodshed!
Let ev'ry Gold Star Mother have her have her darling boy instead!
Over here, over there, over here, over there,
For PEACE the whole world over say a prayer!
Let Yankee Doodle, Dixie, that sent our boys to War
Ring loud and clear a new song for PEACE FOREVER
