Per fare un esempio, l’U.S. Postal Service predispose un piano, poi costantemente aggiornato fino agli anni 80, per la consegna della posta nel dopo-guerra atomica… Quando Tom Paxton venne a conoscenza della notizia, che l’USPS intendeva garantire il servizio postale anche dopo l’olocausto termo-nucleare globale, non potè tenersi da scriverci su questa canzone…
