Album “Broadside Ballads, Vol. 7”, Folkways Records che raccoglieva anche canzoni di Larry Estridge.
"Bach Mai" è, in lingua vietnamita, il "Prunus mume", una varietà di pruno dai fiori bianchi originaria della Cina e coltivata in tutto il sud-est asiatico... Bach Mai era anche il nome di una base militare nord-vietnamita vicino ad Hanoi, e pure il nome dell'ospedale che le sorgeva accanto, a meno di 1 chilometro... Ciò non impedì agli americani di bombardarla a più riprese nel 1972, facendo soprattutto strage dei degenti ricoverati in quell'ospedale... Oggi la base militare non esiste più, mentre l'ospedale Bach Mai ad Hanoi è la più grande struttura ospedaliera del Vietnam... al suo interno è pure attivo un importante centro di riabilitazione per bambini cerebrolesi, finanziato dall'associazione statunitense "Veterans for America"...
