"Damned Era", è una canzone contro la guerra e la distruzione. I molteplici riferimenti a "them" rimandano all' immagine degli oscuri signori della guerra che fanno delle nostre vite uno spettacolo di marionette, di cui tengono i fili. Un testo anche contro il sistema di questo mondo che si basa solo sugli intaressi economici di questi "oscuri signori" e un chiaro invito alla ribellione e non alla passività e all'annichilimento.
