Zappa si riferisce alla Strategic Defense Initiative, nota da noi come Scudo spaziale, il demenziale programma di difesa,varato da quel mentecatto di Ronald Reagan nel 1983, che prevedeva un'imponente rete di sistemi d'arma a terra per contrastare eventuali attacchi di missili balistici con testate nucleari sul territorio americano e dei paesi alleati.
Critici e detrattori del SID lo battezzarono le "Star Wars" di Ronald Reagan...Condotto tra il 1983 e il 1993, le guerre stellari del cowboy costarono oltre 44 miliardi di dollari...
