"Salvador Allende 1909-1973
Vald till president i Chile 1970 efter allmänna demokratiska val. Vid en militärkupp den 11 september 1973 angreps presidentpalatset och Allende uppmanades att avgå. han vägrade och mötte i stället militären beväpnad för att in i det sista försvara demokratin. Kort efter bilden togs stormades presidentpalatset. Salvador Allende var död."

"The text was written as a tribute to the political refugees who came here from Latin America and became our friends. It feels harder to sing today. The text could be interpreted that one wishes refugees out of our country. When it was written, it was no problem. All the Latin Americans we knew wanted to return as quickly as possible to continue their fight against the USA supported military dictators.
Björn often sang the song and made it famous in Norway" (Comments from Songs in the time, 2001)

The comments of Björn Afzelius about his song are especially significant to me. I lived in Stockholm for a year's sabbatical, and know the huge area of Sergels Torg, a square located in the center of town. Though I was not there for the anniversary, to think of it filled with demonstrators while this beautiful and haunting song played is a powerful vision.

Stupisce trovare tra le CCG questa canzone che mi pare faccia parte dell'irridentismo più trito e quindi estranea a una cultura contraria alla guerra.
Stupisce anche trovarla corredata e introdotta da una citazione di wikipedia ovvero quel luogo in cui i neofascisti stanno cercando di depositare una certa quantità di letame nel vissuto storico italiano.

Il 7 ottobre 1992 ci lasciava Augusto, già 26 anni fa. E questo inserimento vuol essere un omaggio a lui.
Come spesso accadeva allora si prendeva la musica di un successo inglese o americano e si inseriva un nuovo testo o che solo vagamente ricordava il testo originale.
I Nomadi (e siamo nel 1966), reclamano il diritto ad essere giudicati per le azioni e non per essere dei "capelloni"

Salve, nel limite delle mie possibilità desidero dare un contributo nell'analisi del testo, con qualche proposta a mia contezza del tutto inedita, perciò ho scritto in Word con caretteri Calibri 16 qualche considerazione. Lo stesso anche per Zavarakatranemia, in seguito ad un'intervista a Markopoulos. Domani dovrò rileggerli per emendarli.
Il problema è che i testi sono lunghi: 1.074 parole per Zavara e 4.262 per Ta logia. Come li invio? non ho idea di come e quanto il sistema li taglierà (magari spezzando in corpo di parola) e quante parti si formeranno (probabile che il sistema mi reputi spammer, con molteplici invii ravvicinati). Preferite che carichi su Zippyshare i due file word (meglio se trasformati da me in PDF così sono sicuro che vedrete ciò che vedo io), validi per un mese, e inserisca qui sotto (e nella pagina di Zavara) il link per il download? Grazie.

Gli U2 hanno usato la canzone cantata da Madison Ryann Ward nelle scalette del tour Experience & Innocence per introdurre la campagna "Poverty is sexist", una campagna per ridurre poverta e analfabetismo femminile; perché se non vi è parità tra maschi e femmine, questa è ancora più evidente in caso di povertà.

Cependant, je tiens à rassurer les amis, la seule fondation à laquelle Marco Valdo M.I. a apporté sa contribution est la Fondazione Carlo Levi (Roma), au temps où Guido Sacerdoti en était président.
On peut en trouver trace sur le site de la Filef, qui a repris l’intégralité du petit livre que j’avais écrit pour présenter Carlo Levi au musée de Mariemont en 2005 :
