Succede a volte di prendere degli abbagli; e così, la vecchia trascrizione in caratteri latini della versione ebraica de Le déserteur era del tutto sbagliata. Al suo posto è stata finalmente inserita quella corretta!
La versione ebraica è in versi che rispettano la metrica originale ed è quindi pienamente cantabile. In alcune parole è munita anche della puntatura tiberiense (vocalizzazione).
Verrà quanto prima fornita una trascrizione in caratteri latini.
A Daniel vanno ovviamente tutti i nostri più sentiti ringraziamenti.[RV]

E' assai interessante vedere come Daniel Shalev ha...riscritto il testo della canzone in ebraico, per mantenere la metrica e renderla cantabile. Anche lo stile dell'ebraico è stato volutamente tenuto assai arcaico.
NB: Ovviamente, lo ripetiamo, si tratta della versione letterale della versione ebraica, la quale è in versi e in rima.
