Questa canzone non parla delle guerre in generale, ma è una riflessione sulle guerre sante, sull'ignoranza dei popoli che combattono in nome di un Dio della cui esistenza non sono neanche certi, ma pensano che lui voglia soltanto guerra, fanatici pronti ad uccidere in nome di un Dio che se anche esistesse non penso che vorrebbe tutto ciò...

"Symphony Of Destruction" is a song by the American Thrash metal band, Megadeth, off of the band's 1992 double platinum selling album, Countdown to Extinction.
This song is about what happens when you take any living man and put him in control as a leader, and then seeing what the general public reactions are, like as said in the lyrics below of the first verse.
"You take a mortal man, and put him in control. Watch him become a god, watch peoples heads a'roll"
This description is also seen in the music video for the song, as the video constantly depicts protesters protesting against a new leader, and even shows the leader being assassinated.
This song is also about military dictatorship.
The song was covered by melodic death metal band Arch Enemy for a Kerrang! CD entitled "High Voltage! A brief history of rock" which featured modern bands set... (continua)

United Abominations
This song is the title track of Megadeth's album, "United Abominations." In this song, Megadeth threw a bunch of accusations at the United Nations, claiming that they "face war without end." The song features a short speech by Dave Mustaine before the main lyrics, in which he first calls the U.N. the "United Abominations. At the end of the song, he begins to throw accusations at the United Nations, referencing recent events such as the 9/11 attacks and the invasion of Iraq. After each accusation, he says "There was no U.N."
U.N. blog writer, Mark Leon Goldberg, dissected the song, verse by verse, and wrote an entire blog saying the U.N. was not phased by the song, or the album. He even pointed out accusations he believed to be false. He said that "we at UN Dispatch refuse to let Megadeth's witless screed go unchallenged. We listened [to the song] so you don't have to."
The album's artwork depicts the United Nations building in flames in a 9/11 atack style.
