ho sentito questa mattina la notizia dell'acronimo WCNSF a Radio Popolare e mi è subito venuta la voglia di scrivere un brano sull'argomento.
Facendo ricerche in rete ho trovato che il bravissimo e prolifico David lo aveva già fatto con molto tatto e profondità di racconto.
Il coinvolgimento complice dei suoi USA immagino lo faccia sempre soffrire e gli dia ulteriori ragioni per scrivere.

Wounded Child No Surviving Family
Gli operatori sanitari di Gaza, Medici senza frontiere (MSF), hanno condiviso che il numero di bambini senza familiari sopravvissuti che arrivano per cure mediche è così alto che è stato coniato un nuovo acronimo per identificarli: “WCNSF” (Wounded Child No Surviving Family ).
Un mese di incessanti bombardamenti su aree civili densamente popolate ha esacerbato la già critica situazione di salute mentale dei bambini di Gaza con conseguenze di vasta portata, poiché le strategie di reazione e gli spazi sicuri vengono strappati via e i servizi e l’assistenza di salute mentale vengono tagliati, afferma Save the Children.
Nell’ultimo mese, 4.506 bambini sono stati uccisi a Gaza, e altri 1.500 sono dispersi, presumibilmente sepolti sotto le macerie. Altri 43 bambini sono stati uccisi nella Cisgiordania occupata. L’agenzia umanitaria ha avvertito che la salute mentale dei bambini a Gaza è arrivata al limite.
Con gli attacchi aerei israeliani dell’ultimo mese che hanno colpito migliaia di spazi civili a Gaza, comprese scuole e ospedali che ospitano famiglie, la violenza, la paura, il dolore e l’incertezza stanno causando gravi danni mentali ai bambini che non hanno un posto sicuro dove andare.
Il ministero della Salute di Gaza riferisce che 444 famiglie hanno perso da due a cinque dei loro membri, a causa della violenza delle ultime quattro settimane, comprese 192 famiglie che hanno perso dieci o più membri, lasciando molti bambini senza sostegno familiare – fondamentale per i bambini che soffrono di trauma da violenza.
