"So, how do you write an anti-War song, and inspect man's avarice, stupidity and ultimate extinction in song?
Well, with humour naturally! I wanted to deliver a dark message tongue-in-cheek with a jaunty, foot tapping rhythm...
Done in more of a Vaudeville style than true PROG! (Whatever that is)

When we played Summers End festival in 2016, some of the band members were a tad skeptical about performing this one live...but I stuck to my guns (no pun intended) and in the end, it turned out to be the most talked about piece that we performed on the day when it came to the reviews!" (Guy)

Damanek
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me
unless you plan to unshirt me with some litigation magic
I see across the garden wall and I crave what you've got
So I'll give it a shot and annex your pagoda!

The Big Parade come and see the Big Parade
Where they march in time
Where they hold the line
One little soldier takes out his gun
Another little soldier joins in all the fun
A leader hits a button and a War is begun
Missiles away!

Now some are rich and some are poor and that was set up years before
when maps were drawn to show what's yours, but now it is mine, I've drawn a line!
You've got oil or reach the Sea and that will do just fine for me
so stand aside, I'm coming through, I've got far more bullies than you

My God's better than your God too
He wrote it down, then so did you
He wants me to convey it true, that your beliefs will never do
So the now the writings on the wall and there are no humans here at all
We left a note to say goodbye, "it's still our wall! it's still our sides!"
