In “Murmur”, album d'esordio della band di Athens, Georgia
Una canzone sull'ingiustizia che domina il mondo e, più precisamente – come ebbe a dire lo stesso Michael Stipe - sulla fame che attanaglia tanti esseri umani privi di tutto mentre “una nave da guerra costa 910 milioni di dollari” (nel 1987)
Il video del brano fu girato alcuni anni dopo e mostra immagini di degrado urbano, di reietti e di homeless che si accompagnano a quelle di navi da guerra all'ormeggio.
