Palestinian residents of Jenin camp defend their homes. Solidarity with the Palestinian people!
From Jenin, we can see the fields,
Across the Green Line, where grandpa was born.
Olives and oranges, shimmering and unreal,
Our land is a prisoner of war.

From Jenin, we can see it all,
From Jenin, behind the wire and the walls,
From Jenin we can dream of home.

In this camp, this neighborhood,
We learn our lessons and live our lives.
Sand and soldiers, the smell of blood,
The taste of dust and lies.

From Jenin, we can see it all,
From Jenin, behind the wire and the walls,
From Jenin we can dream of home.

Here they come, covering the sun,
Israel's apaches, American made.
Tanks and armor, they think we’ll run,
But Jenin is here to stay.

From Jenin, we can see it all,
From Jenin, behind the wire and the walls,
From Jenin we can dream of home.

With ancient rifles, home-made grenades,
Molotov cocktails, booby-trapped streets,
Friends and neighbors pick off invaders,
We lose a hundred, they lose 23.

From Jenin, we can see it all,
From Jenin, behind the wire and the walls,
From Jenin we can dream of home.

Are they heroes or a new Gestapo,
When they shell the houses of an Arab town?
Ten days of battle, our Warsaw Ghetto,
A camp is bulldozed down.

From Jenin, we can see it all,
From Jenin, behind the wire and the walls,
From Jenin we can dream of home.

We have no houses, but we are not homeless,
We have no weapons, but we still can fight,
We have a vision, we have a purpose,
From Jenin, the future is bright.

From Jenin, we can see it all,
From Jenin, behind the wire and the walls,
From Jenin we can dream of home…
