Last night in Bethel was very special. It was the anniversary of Woodstock 1969 on the original site! I walked the original field and saw where that famed stage once was. Most people know the famous story of how Joni Mitchell didn’t make it to Woodstock and wrote one of her most incredible songs (and that’s saying something) about it.
I got to sing her song last night in that sacred place and it was like bringing a little piece of Joni onto the land!
