Oggi, dopo aver pubblicato i primi due singoli We Don’t Need You e Battle Sirens, Morello condivide il terzo singolo estratto Rabbit’s Revenge che vede la partecipazione di Bassnectar, degli Outkast e Killer Mike dei Run The Jewels che uniscono le loro forze per denunciare le violenze della polizia USA.

Directed by Chris Milk, the award-winning music video for "Doesn't Remind Me" starts off with a blurred image of an Uncle Sam poster tacked to a wall of a young boy's bedroom, as he innocently plays with a toy fighter plane.

This boy is played by Vinny Intrieri, a six-year old boxer from Philadelphia, who lives with his mother and sister, known better by his fight name, Kid Vicious. Shot in a documentary-like style, this fictional story explores the world of Vinny's character.

Throughout the video, Vinny enjoys playing with military planes and dedicates most of his free time to his boxing training. His obsession with planes becomes clearer when the audience sees a portrait of his father, an Air Force pilot, who died fighting in the Iraqi war. As a result, his widowed mother has been forced to raise him and his little sister.

Il brano dà il titolo al quindicesimo album di Springsteen, il secondo acustico dopo "Nebraska"

È stato anche riproposto in una versione elettrica e quasi rappata dai Rage Against The Machine.
Reinterpretata da Springsteen in versione elettrica nell'album "High Hopes" (2014) in duetto con Tom Morello.
Interpretata anche in duetto con Pete Seeger nel disco Sowing the Seeds (2006).

Tom Joad è il protagonista del romanzo più famoso di John Steinbeck, "The Grapes of Wrath", uscito negli Stati Uniti nel 1939 e conosciuto in Italia come Furore. Dal libro John Ford ha tratto uno storico film (con Henry Fonda nel ruolo di Tom Joad). Woody Guthrie scrisse la sua ballata Tom Joad quasi dieci anni prima che il boss venisse al mondo, ma anche altri folksinger prima di Springsteen si erano ispirati al personaggio.
