In "1994," Bob leaves his liberal (New Age) wife to take up with a conservative Sunday School teacher who tries to justify their relationship through Biblical scripture. The heat gets turned up when she encourages Bob to sue for custody of his 10-year-old daughter. Meanwhile, Bob's mother, Maureen, falls in love again after being a widow for 12 years; and Bob's sister must cope with the terminal illness of her husband.


Satiric song from "1994" the Musical, sung by the conservative couple Bob and Christine on the 4th of July.

“1972” is a 3-act comedy/drama that explores personal and societal changes in that year through the experiences of the "O'Clark" family:  The father (Robert) is a conservative with a sense of humor who likes Archie Bunker; the mother (Maureen) is exploring women’s liberation;  Marnie, the daughter, is taking classes in feminism and is questioning her religion; and Bob, the son, is in a fraternity and pursuing the American Dream. The sparks fly when Janice, a free-loving hippie, comes on the scene, and both Bob and Marnie are attracted to her...

                    Plot Summary:
