La canzone Ehi Franco è stata scritta dal duo Psicantria per raccontare e celebrare la figura di Franco Basagliain occasione dei 40 anni della Legge 180. E’ un brano che racconta quello che Basaglia ha fatto e cosa ha rappresentato per la psichiatria, ripercorrendo le tappe salienti della sua storia e le sue battaglie. Contiene riferimenti anche al mondo di oggi dove siamo iperconnessi, ma purtroppo ancora pieni di pregiudizi.

Sono nato ascoltando una lingua dura che pare fatta apposta per dare ordini, in un campo delle donne - Frauenfeld dice che significa questo - ma sono cresciuto mille e più km a sud parlando un'umile lingua meticcia, figlia minore di Zeus e Giove, ma dal profumo d'oriente. Del '73 non ricordo nulla eppure certe immagini sue mi sono familiari: la 850 beige per esempio ce l'aveva mio zio, ed era sempre una festa vederla arrivare: era l'estate. Parole come fotografie virate al rosso dentro gli album rilegati in pelle. E poi il sole. Il sole degli anni '70 che così non l'ho più visto nei decenni a venire. Dice che è sempre lo stesso, devono essere gli occhi ad essere cambiati. Ecco! Forse è solo per questo che ho cominciato a scriverle: per dirle grazie per avermelo fatto rivedere ancora.

"Sette lucciole perse nel grano", canzone dedicata ai martiri del XX giugno. Testo di Tullio Bugari e musica di Silvano Staffolani.
L'eccidio avvenne il 20 giugno 1944 nella contrada di campagna "Montecappone", alla periferia di Jesi (An) un mese prima della liberazione della città; le vittime furono sette giovani tra i 18 e i 25 anni, cinque di loro residenti nel vicino quartiere di "via Roma" (Armando e Luigi Angeloni, Francesco Cecchi, Alfredo Santinelli, Mario Saveri) e altri due militari lontanti dalle loro case, Enzo Carboni di Sant'Eufemia di Aspromente e Calogero Grasceffo di Agrigento.
Scrive lo storico locale Giuseppe Luconi nel libro “L’anno più lungo”:

The campaign is the continued fight for an official pardon for the people targeted by the state during the National Building Strike in the 1970's.

Contribuisco qui sotto una lunga riflessione che Massimo Bubola, coautore del testo, fece su "Don Raffaè"
Bubola non parla mai del carcere, della condizione carceraria, nè di Pasquale Cafiero come di un poveretto stretto tra il suo difficile lavoro, la propria vita stenta e vicende e uomini più grossi di lui. Bubola parla di Stato e di Anti-Stato, e dei loro appalti vicendevoli.

Quando con Fabrizio De Andrè decidemmo di scrivere la ballata di Don Raffaè, era la metà degli anni 80, avevamo già scritto tante canzoni insieme, sovente su fatti di cronaca, delle vere instant songs, le avrebbero definite in America, brani come «Coda di Lupo» o «Parlando del naufragio della London Valour», ma ci stimolava molto l’idea di scrivere un brano ironico e tagliente su un tema drammatico, che in genere preferisce una... The narrator also expressed moral and religious opposition to the war, quoting the bible: "thou shall not kill". Yet, she also defended the previous generation's conflict as a just war for freedom: "his daddy fought in World War Two so that we can live in peace".

The country anti-war track "Viet Nam" (Green Mountain # GM-101), by the obscure artists Pat Bohlman and Edwin Maderia, expressed the view that the war was harming the US, but it also noted the ongoing peace negotiations in Paris, which the song described as "doing well". The negotiations started in Paris in 1968, and were mainly conducted by Henry Kissinger (National Security Adviser to President Richard Nixon, 1969-1974) and his North Vietnamese counterpart Lê Ðức Thọ.

La foto sopra è stata colta ieri sera, 4 giugno 2020, alla trattoria siciliana La Burrasca, a Firenze in San Lorenzo, e più precisamente in Via Panicale. Testimonia un momento particolare: è l'espressione, tipicamente un po' diabolica, che ho fatto quando mi è venuto in mente di chiudere simbolicamente il Canzoniere del Coronavirus con questa vecchia canzone del quasi ottantenne Francesco Guccini. Espressione diabolica, perché a detto canzoniere era stato dato inizio lo scorso 22 febbraio (il giorno dopo l'oramai famoso Paziente Uno di Codogno [Lodi]) proprio con il détournement di una canzone di Francesco Guccini, e terminarlo un po' cripticamente con una canzone del genere, nella sua versione pienamente originale, intende a suo modo chiudere un cerchio....
