Cercando una canzone in judezmo, mentre facevo la guardia ad un’altra in yiddish, che non la sorprendessero i crucchi, ecco che mi pare proprio di vederne arrivare uno che canticchia nella sua lingua… “Chi va là?”, urlo. Mi risponde: “Sono Joachim Ringelnatz, sono tedesco ma antifascista! Non sparare!”… Lo faccio passare. Ci abbracciamo. Meno male che anche tra di loro non tutti sono “nazi schmazi”…

Joachim Ringelnatz è stato uno scrittore, un cabarettista, un poeta, e dipingeva pure. Inventò un personaggio letterario, il marinaio Kuddel Daddeldu, che era un po’ il suo alter ego, anarchico e antiautoritario. Morì poco dopo l’avvento del nazismo, ma in tempo per vedersi bollato come artista “degenerato”. Molta della sua produzione fu distrutta negli anni successivi alla sua scomparsa.

Tre passi nel delirio
Chanson italienne - Tre passi nel delirio - Dugentodumila – 2002

Plus qu'une chanson, il s'agit d'une trilogie, ou bien de trois micro-chansons, dans lesquelles trois des membres du groupe interprètent les sensations qu'ils imaginent avoir été éprouvées tout au long de sa vie par le pilote qui lors de la seconde guerre mondiale a lâché la bombe atomique sur Hiroshima. La peur, quand il était dans l'avion, qui ne lui a pas laissé voir la gravité du geste, le remords qui commence à le tourmenter immédiatement comme un spectre, une fois rentré chez lui à la fin de la guerre et enfin la honte, pendant sa vieillesse qu’il masque avec orgueil et arrogance. Cette trilogie ne s'inspire pas de la biographie réelle du pilote, les auteurs prennent simplement appui sur cet événement pour faire surgir l'absurdité de la guerre.

Questa canzone di Leyb Rozental di Vilnius è sicuramente stata ispirata ad un brano precedente, “פּאַפּיראָסן” (Papirosn), di cui fu autore negli anni 20 Hermann Yablokoff (1903-1981), originario di Hrodna, oggi in Bielorussia, ed emigrato negli USA nel 1924. Personaggio molto noto nel teatro yiddish americano, alla fine della guerra Yablokoff fece molte tournée in Germania, Austria ed Italia per portare conforto ai rifugiati sopravvissuti alla Shoah.
Su di una melodia tradizionale bulgara.
