Is It Because I'm Black?‎

Is It Because I'm Black?‎
‎[1970]‎
Un artista piuttosto misconosciuto ed il suo brano più famoso (oltre tutto arrangiato dal grande ‎‎Donny Hathaway) che all’epoca fu uno degli inni dell’orgoglio nero al pari di I Don’t Want Nobody to Give Me Nothing (Open Up the Door, I’ll Get It Myself)‎ e ‎‎Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud di James Brown…‎

Tryin' Times

Tryin' Times
[1969]
Da “First Take”, debut album di Roberta Flack.

(To Be) Young, Gifted and Black

(To Be) Young, Gifted and Black
[1969]
Album “Black Gold”, 1970

(Continues)
