F.U.B.U.
Album A Seat at the Table (2016)
Featuring BJ the Chicago Kid & The-Dream
One of the tracks is called "F.U.B.U.," which stands for "For us by us." I read that your working title for the song was "Be Very Afraid." When you talk about choosing optimism over pessimism, "For us by us" versus "Be very afraid" is a pretty stark contrast.
It is, it is. And to be honest, "F.U.B.U." was the song I had the hardest time writing in terms of conceptualizing. Before, that song specifically was about people being afraid of us and fear being at the root of so many murders from policemen, so many murders that we have constantly seen in the past few years. And it was really, really hard for me to put that in a four-minute song. And I kept trying, and I kept trying, and it hurt so much and it was so painful for me and it was so sad. And one day, I put on the track again, probably the fifth or sixth... (Continues)

Queen of the Field (Patsey's Song)
[2013]

[2015]
Scritta da Melody Gardot e dal batterista Chuck Staab
Nell'album "Currency of Man"

The song covers the topic of police corruption and brutality. It’s extremely relevant right now with the incidents taking place in Ferguson and NYC 2014.
Not only have they covered the topic in their music, but Killer Mike was actually interviewed by CNN about this in August.

16 Shots
(2016)
Album There's Alot Going On
E, nonostante tutto, viene ancora bersagliato dai colpi.

Rank & File
[2018]
Parole e musica di Moses Sumney
Nell'EP "Black in Deep Red, 2014"

When Will They Shoot?
[1992]
Scritta da Bobcat, D.J. Pooh e Ice Cube
Nell'album "Predator"

Nell'album "Apocalypse 91… The Enemy Strikes Black", pubblicato nel 1991

Srinivas
2018
Songs Of Resistance 1942-2018
feat. Steve Earle e Tift Merritt
