We take the money from our missilesLeviamo i soldi dai missili
and spend it on our hospitals insteadE spendiamoli in ospedali, piuttosto

The Cold War is over, but the stakes are getting higherLa Guerra Fredda è finita, ma s'innalzano roghi [1] sempre più alti
I’m frightened of collateral damage and of friendly fireHo paura dei danni collaterali e del fuoco amico
And I don’t believe we can defeat no axis of evilE non credo che possiamo sconfiggere alcun asse del male
By putting smart bombs in the hands of dumb peopleMettendo bombe intelligenti in mano a gente ottusa [2]

Look out Hugo Chavez is backGuardate un po', rieccolo Hugo Chávez
Waiting for the great leap forwardsChe aspetta il Grande Balzo in Avanti

In a perfect world we all sing in tuneIn un mondo perfetto tutti cantiamo intonati
But their ain’t nobody that can sing like meMa non c'è nessuno che sappia cantare come me

Well here comes the futureEcco che arriva il futuro
And you can’t run from itE tu non puoi sfuggirgli

So join the struggle while you mayE allora lotta con noi finché puoi
The revolution is just a flyer’s place awayLa rivoluzione dista solo un volantino
Waiting for the great leap forwardsAspettando il Grande Balzo in Avanti
