THE PRETTY GIRL

The pretty girl
with almond eyes
I love you from my heart,
oh, my heart, you’re my eyes.

I love you from my heart,
oh, my heart, you’re my eyes.

Near the bridge [1]
my love awaits
Breaking your thoughts,
my dear, is hard for me.

Breaking your thoughts,
my dear [2], is hard for me.

You appear and gesture,
and the heart is wounded
Days on my mind
and the memories come and go
Days on my mind
and the memories come and go

Under the pomegranate tree
my love talked with me
He sang to me songs, oh my eyes,
as he wooed me.

He sang to me songs, oh my eyes,
as he wooed me...

I love you from my heart,
oh, my heart, you’re my eyes...

Breaking your thoughts,
my dear, is hard for me...

Days are on my mind,
and the memories come and go
Days are on my mind,
and the memories come and go.

Under the pomegranate tree [3]
my love talked with me
He sang to me songs, oh my eyes,
as he wooed [4] me
He sang to me songs, oh my eyes,
as he wooed me.

You appear and gesture,
and the heart is wounded...

Days are on my mind,
and the memories come and go.

Under the pomegranate tree
my love talked with me.

He sang to me songs, oh my eyes,
as he wooed me...

He sang to me songs, oh my eyes,
as he wooed me.
