[1] Herjan (“dominus”) è un antichissimo appellativo di Odino. Essendo un dio pagano, con l'introduzione del cristianesimo passò ad essere un appellativo del Diavolo. [2] Nella canzone, Megas si rivolge al suo cane; Snati è un nome comunissimo, in Islanda, per i cani da pastore.	[1] Herjan (“lord”) is a very old appellation of Odin (Wotan). Being a heathen god, this appellation was easily transferred to the Devil with the introduction of Christianism. [2] In the song, Megas is addressing his dog: Snati is a quite common name for shepherd dogs in Iceland.
