Die wollten sich ehelichen.	Volevano sposarsi, proprio come me o te.
Das Standesamt gab es nicht zu,	Il Comune disse che non era consentito,
Weil beide einander nicht glichen.	“Non siete fatti allo stesso modo”, giudicò la moltitudine di quelli giusti.

Da riefen sie zornig: "Verflucht und verdammt	I due protestarono e si arrabbiarono: “Maledizione e dannazione!
