| Cominciarono a mandare spedizioni, | The expeditionary searches began, |
| Gli aeroplani cominciarono a volare | and airplanes started to fly. |
| In distinte e varie direzioni, | They went in many different directions, |
| Cercando Villa, lo volevano ammazzare. | looking for Villa, with plans to kill him. |

| Pancho Villa non lo riuscivano a trovare, | couldn't find Pancho Villa, |

[2] In sp. messicano: bolillo, nome di un morbido panino di farina bianca (un "pane da ricchi"), è un epiteto (assai) spregiativo per gli yankees: bianchi e mollacchioni. Gli yankees vengono spesso visti coi "piedoni", "lunghi lunghi e bischeri bischeri" insomma.
