This means that an equal number of Americans -or, at least, of English-speaking people- doesn't know the word “harangue”, or doesn't know how to spell it correctly. Btw, “hoorang” is Australian slang for “loose cannon”, and also the name of a New Zealand race horse. [RV]	[1] Vale a dire una bara. [2] “Harangue” significa genericamente “discorso solenne, ufficiale”; si tratta chiaramente qui del discorso pronunciato dinanzi al feretro dell'eroe caduto. [3] “Terra dei Liberi” (Land of the Free): espressione ripresa dall'inno americano, lo Star-Spangled Banner. Indica, naturalmente, gli Stati Uniti d'America. [4] Curiosamente, il testo originale recita esattamente “Christian Democracy”. Certo, nel tradurre in italiano si poteva agevolmente evitare un certo e simpaticissimo doppio senso; ho però deciso di non evitarlo affatto.
