KAK DA STANE SĂN VOJNATA | THOUGH THE WAR DOESN’T MAKE US SLEEP |
| |
Kak da stane săn vojnata, | Though the war doesn’t make us sleep, |
ot kojato se straxuvam, | though I am so afraid of it, |
ot kojat vsički bjagat, | though all run away from it |
no kojato săštestvuva. | yet it exists, it exists. |
| |
Vse otnjakăde nadniča | They’ve always been investigating |
oktopodnata i sjanka, | on octopuses and ghosts, |
a mirăt straxlivo sriča | but peace, it is hardly |
v učeničeska čitanka. | to be read in schoolbooks. |
| |
Ti, čovečestvo, koeto | You, mankind, who remember |
pomniš tolkova uroci, | I don’t know how many lessons, |
ti, koeto se zadăxvaš | you, who are empoisoning yourself |
ot lekarstva i ot sroci. | with drugs and other shit. |
| |
Napravi taka, če utre | You should see to it, that tomorrow |
da e slănceto bez oblak, | the sun is free from clouds, |
da ne se vzrivi zemjata, | that the Earth doesn’t explode |
a da si ostane obla. | and that weapons cease fire. |
