A parody of When Johnny Comes Marching Home, Southern (and national) anthem.
A song about what to expect when all those young soldiers come home from Bush's baked war.
We take kids, we train them to kill, send them off to get some practice and set them loose in the streets when they come home.
He's not the momma's little boy
He was not long ago
They've changed the boy forever
When they sent him off to fight a war
They handed little John a gun
And taught him how to fight
They took away the little boy
His mom tucked in at night.

When Johnny comes marching home again –Hurrah, Hurrah
When Johnny comes marching home again –Hurrah, Hurrah
The men will fear the boys will shout
The ladies they will all hide out
And we won't be safe when
Johnny comes marching home.

After Johnny made some kills
And it don't hurt anymore
They'll bring him back to American streets
Where he'll face a different war
Watch out, don't get in Johnny's way
Cause he a killer now
Just hope that nothing happens
To set him off some how

When Johnny comes marching home again –Hurrah, Hurrah
When Johnny comes marching home again –Hurrah, Hurrah
The men will fear the boys will shout
The ladies they will all hide out
And we won't be safe when
Johnny comes marching home.

Something in his eyes has changed – Something in his heart
Somewhere deep inside of him – He fights a brand new war
Now that Johnny's come back home – Fresh from killing fields
No one will be safe from the way the new Johnny feels

It wasn't long ago that Johnny Was a little boy
But now he's killed so often It's his nature to destroy
When Johnny comes a marching home You'd better run and hide
Or you could be the victim of the war he fights inside…
