Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Let's go down, let's go down,
Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Down on the picket line.

As we went down on the picket line
To keep the scabs out of the mine,
Who's goin' to win the strike,
Come on an' we'll show you the way.

We went out one mornin' before daylight,
An' I was sure we'd have a fight,
But the scabs us cowardly ran away,
We went back the very next day.

Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Let's go down, let's go down,
Come on, friends, an' let's go down,
Down on the picket line.

As we went down on the picket line
To keep the scabs out of the mine,
Who's goin' to win the fight,
Come on an' we'll show you the way.

We all went out on the railroad track
To meet them scabs an' turn 'em back.
We went there strike, I'm glad to say,
Come on an' we'll show you the way.

AL PICCHETTAGGIO

Venite amici e andiamoci,
andiamoci, andiamoci
venite amici e andiamoci

Venite amici e andiamoci,
andiamoci, andiamoci
venite amici e andiamoci
a fare il picchettaggio.

E mentre s'andava al picchettaggio
per tener via i crumiri dalla miniera,
secondo voi chi vincerà lo sciopero?
Su venite e vi si fa vedere come si fa.

Andammo tutti sui binari
incontro ai crumiri per scacciarli via.
Ci andammo in sciopero, lo dico contento,
Su venite e vi si fa vedere come si fa.
