Amidst the ruins of Berlin
Trees are in bloom as they have never been
Sometimes at night you feel in all your sorrow
A perfume as of a sweet tomorrow

In den Ruinen von Berlin
In den Ruinen von Berlin
Fangen sie wieder an zu blühn
Ihr Indianer, Arbeiter und Bauern

Kommt, wir springen über alle Mauern
That's when you realize at least
They won't return the phantoms of the past
A brand new spring is to begin
Out of the ruins of Berlin

NELLE ROVINE DI BERLINO

Nelle rovine di Berlino
ricominciavano a fiorire
i vostri indiani, i lavoratori e i contadini
venite, noi saltiamo sopra a tutti i muri

ricominciavano a fiorire
i vostri indiani, i lavoratori e i contadini
venite, noi saltiamo sopra a tutti i muri

Amidst the ruins of Berlin
Trees are in bloom as they have never been.
Sometimes at night you feel in all your sorrow
A perfume as soft as sweet tomorrow.

That's when you realize at last
They won't return – those phantoms of the past
A brand new spring is to begin
Out of the ruins of Berlin!

Amidst the ruins of Berlin
Trees are in bloom as they have never been.
A perfume as soft as sweet tomorrow.

That's when you realize at last
They won't return – those phantoms of the past
A brand new spring is to begin
Out of the ruins of Berlin!
