BILL WHELAN
Bill Whelan, composer of Riverdance The Show, has worked extensively in theatre, television and film.

His orchestral works include the specially commissioned piece, The Seville Suite (1992) and The Spirit Of Mayo (1993). His work in international film includes Lamb which he co-composed with Van Morrison, his emotive score for the Jim Sheridan/Terry George film Some Mother's Son and the original score for the film version of Brian Friel's award winning Dancing At Lughnasa which starred Meryl Streep. Bill recently composed the musical score for the critically acclaimed Irish history television documentary, The Seven Ages, produced and directed by Sean O Mordha.

Bill Whelan is the winner of the 1997 Grammy Award for 'Best Musical Show Album' for the Riverdance CD. The album of Bill Whelan's music has been a huge chart success, reaching double platinum status in Ireland and platinum in the USA.

Riverdance The Show continues to tour the world and the show made its Broadway debut earlier this year. Riverdance On Broadway features new music written by Bill and is running for a limited engagement at The Gershwin Theatre.

Tsidii's composition, Rafiki Mourns is included in the Grammy Award winning album of The Lion King On Broadway, sharing the honor with Elton John, Tim Rice, Julie Taymor, Hans Zimmer and others. The supremely talented Lady has also been awarded the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement in Musical Theatre from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters and has shared the stage and recordings with the likes of STING, ELTON JOHN, MADONNA, HARRY BELAFONTE, DIONNE WARWICK, YOUSSOU N'DOUR, ROBERTA FLACK, LADYSMITH BLACK MAMBAZO....
Her film and TV credits include lead roles in two Stephen King made-for-television movies ROSE RED and THE DIARY OF ELLEN RIMBAUER (Stephen King and Ridley Pearson).
