« Back to Profile Ras Nyah, son of art as well as nephew of the biggest history singer of the world Ciccio Busacca and the brother Nino Busacca Ras Nyah’s grandfather, is a stage performer since the age of 12 years old like professional dancer and MC. He began his reggae artist way in 2006-2007 when he was 17 years old, inspired by the consciousness of the roots music and prepared by 4 years of experience with the productions of a few songs hip hop and dancehall and various performance and championships as a Caribbean dancer. He realized the first reggae album "Jah Proje.CT" MagmaSound 'Nyahman & Dutty Natty', on dub riddims, roots and dancehall, in Italian, English, Spanish and French. Jah Proje.CT had a big success in Italy at Pon The River, at Centuripe Reggae Festival, at Volkano Village, at Sikula Reggae Festival and in many other events. In 2008 Ras Nyah produced a soloist album named "Caribbean Islands Trip" on riddims, in English, Spanish and Italian, collaborating with lots of Italian musician and artist and a new single "Road To Zion" in the famous riddim, playing that in all Italy until June 2009. In 2009 Ras Nyah realized a new Single "No Babylon Downpressor" while he was living at the artistic international house Attraversa_Mente and the video of 2 songs "No Babylon Downpressor" produced by Nunzio Rapisarda "Ciuridda" a video operator from the Italian national channel RAI and "Irie" produced by Ivan J. Nicolosi "Shok Production", watch the video on You tube(Ras Niya). Ras Nyah played No Babylon Downpressor presenting it with international artists in opening of Jah Shaka in Vittoria,Sicily and togheter with Anthony Johnson in Catania, Sicily, at Belvedere 13 floor and at Reggaeswitshop with Supa Chris and Chubby Ranks in Baltimore, Maryland. During the 2010 Ras Nyah produced the new album "Jah Roads" wrote full of original productions from all around the world and featuring with big artists like Jaka (veteran in the reggae scene since the early 80s) & “Michelangelo Buonarroti Band” a.k.a. The Fire Band from Italy, like Sammy Gold (reggae world militant since 1978)from U.K. The new year 2011 began with the production of the single “Liberating Prayer” produced by French label Madrigal Musique, conscious contents in the dancehall style, this single degreed the artist’s musical evolution with the big tunes “Liberating Prayer”, “Iyah is rich feel” and “Madrigal bun my faya” . In September Ras Nyah recorded the new single dedicated to his Queen and to all the spirituals love of the Universe, in free download. During all the year Ras Nyah had various Italian performace of Jah Roads with international artists like Jaka & The Fire Band from Italy, Aquila Barrett (Son of Carlton Barrett The Upsetters, The Wailers) from Jamaica, Alpha & Omega, Dan I from United Kingdom.
