Stick and Poke is a folk punk band with punk rock, ska, and hardcore influences that was created in 2011 by Alison Soldink and Lauren Boyko from Etobicore. They have been described as the Phineas and Ferb of folk-punk. They strive to contribute as much to the local folk punk scene in Toronto as possible. With help from our many supporters we hope to continue to support other local folk punk bands (such as China Bones, Stink Box, Screw You and the Four Chords etc..) and with them maintain a fantastical folk punk scene here in Toronto.

Influences: Mischief Brew, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Paul Baribeau, Blackbird Raum, The Hail Seizures, The Wild, Harley Poe, Defiance Ohio, Pat The Bunny, Against Me!, Tegan and Sara, etc.
