Cento operai in ogni officina	A hundred workers in every workshop
aspettano il suono della sirena	waiting for the siren sound
rimbomba la fabbrica di macchine e motori	echoes the factory of machines and engines
più forte il silenzio di mille lavoratori	more louder the thousand workers silence
e poi quando è l'ora depongono gli arnesi	and then when the time comes, they lay down their tools
comincia il primo sciopero nelle fabbriche torinesi	the first strike begins in the Turin factories

alla Breda rossa in sciopero i fascisti son scappati	at the communist Breda during the strike the fascist runned away
