[1] This refers to Lee Otis Johnson, a radical black activist based out of Houston, Texas. In April of 1968 he was arrested for passing a joint to an undercover police officer (not unlike John Sinclair’s situation). In August 1968, he was found guilty by an all-white jury and sentenced to thirty years in prison (a much stiffer penalty than Sinclair’s “ten for two”). In 1972, Johnson was freed. Genius	[1] Lee Otis Johnson, un attivista nero radicale di Houston, Texas, fu arrestato nell’aprile del 1968 per aver passato uno spinello ad un agente di polizia sotto copertura (praticamente la stessa situazione di John Sinclair). Nell'agosto del 1968, fu dichiarato colpevole da una giuria composta interamente da bianchi e condannato a trent’anni di prigione (una pena molto più severa rispetto ai “dieci per due” di Sinclair). Nel 1972 Johnson fu liberato.
